A Calendar Nerd ramble on the meaning of Barley Loaves and the dating of Pascha. The context for setting the date of Pascha as “not with the Jews” has nothing to do with the current Hebrew Calendar or the date of Passover on it. Rather it’s a good bit more complex. And therefor, for a Calendar Nerd, very fun.
