Christ is Born! Glorify Him!

Yesterday at our Byzantine Catholic Parish we had no priest and, thus, no Divine Liturgy. We served the Morning Office, Orthros or Matins, together with what is called the Typica Psalms. This last is exactly a service for when there is no priest present. The basic service is posted here and it also includes the readings and hymnody of the day. After the readings I was blessed to give a reflection. I do not use notes, but what follows is the same content arranged more for today’s feast – the Circumcision of Jesus. Pardon the audio life of the San Francisco street here in my Apartment. I don’t have a sound studio!
